New website from LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor makes healthcare easier for patients

Doctor-led online consultation service LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor, part of the McKesson UK family, has launched its brand-new website, aiming to deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

The new website, which is optimised for mobile devices, includes a range of design improvements for users, enhancing the patient journey through the site. The new patient-centred experience was built following extensive research involving over 900 patients.

As well as providing a better patient service, the new website will also be the focal point for a range of new services set to be launched in the new year.

Founded in 2002 and the first online provider to be registered by the UK healthcare regulator, LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor leads the way in providing expert, safe, online healthcare. The service offers private, online consultations for patients and doctors are supported by advanced decision-making tools. The online consultation determines what treatment is suitable for the patient and they can then choose to collect their prescription in-store or have it delivered to their home. A range of treatments are available through the Online Doctor, from vaccinations and travel medicines to weight management, smoking cessation and sexual health services.
