London, UK, March 2025 – Careology, the leading digital cancer care platform, and Entia, the company behind ‘Liberty’, the world’s first at-home blood monitoring solution, have partnered to help patients safely self-manage more of their treatment from home. Together, they will accelerate the delivery of proactive care outside of the hospital and improve the lives of people undergoing treatment for cancer.
This collaboration will integrate Entia’s unique at-home blood monitoring solution, Liberty, with Careology’s platform. It will empower patients to perform their own blood tests from the comfort of their homes for their clinicians to monitor how they are responding to treatment remotely. The simple-to-use tests not only alleviate the burden of routine patient assessments but also pave the way for personalised, preventative, and high-value care pathways.
Careology’s digital platform, which was co-developed with leading oncology teams, supports patients and cancer care teams across the UK and US throughout the cancer journey. It enables patients to self-manage and better understand aspects of their treatment including managing side effects, symptoms and medication schedules, as well as providing access to personalised, holistic supportive care.
Combining Entia’s unique blood monitoring solutions with other indicators such as temperature, heart rate and medication patterns paints a rich picture for clinical teams to understand remotely how their patients are. Access to this data through the Careology Professional dashboard promotes early intervention and enables care closer to home.
Paul Landau, Founder and CEO of Careology, says: “We are excited to work closely with Entia to continue enhancing the cancer care experience in a truly patient-centric manner. A cancer diagnosis can be very daunting, with a schedule full of appointments and check-ins which can be both mentally and physically draining. By providing patients with self-service tools, they are able to feel less restricted by treatment and enable their cancer teams to monitor their progress remotely, enabling more oversight and early intervention. This partnership with Entia allows us to further relieve pressures on health systems, improve patient experience, and optimise health outcomes.”
Entia’s Liberty service includes the world’s first UK-approved at-home full blood count analyser and is designed specifically for cancer patients. The development of Entia’s at-home blood monitoring solution was informed by collaborations with global oncology experts such as The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, ensuring it meets the unique needs of those undergoing cancer treatment.
Dr. Toby Basey-Fisher, Founder and CEO of Entia: “We are thrilled to partner with Careology to increase patients’ and healthcare professionals’ access to ‘Liberty’. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in patient empowerment, allowing individuals to manage their health with greater ease and autonomy. By integrating our technology with Careology’s platform, we can help to drive efficiencies in the healthcare system by not only enhancing the patient experience but also supporting clinical teams with valuable, holistic data insights.”
