Pharmacy2U, the UK’s largest online pharmacy, has launched a dedicated women’s health hub, backed by menopause
The hub, which sees Pharmacy2U partnering with menopause accreditation body Gen M, brings together more than 200 certified products and education,
The MTick, powered by GenM, is a retail accreditation which confirms products have been independently assessed as menopause friendly. It marks the first time a UK online pharmacy has embedded an end-to-end menopause support and education system directly into its shopping and healthcare experience.
Last month, several pharmacy bodies called for urgent action on menopause care, asking the government and the NHS to work with pharmacies to provide women experiencing signs of menopause with clear, evidence-based guidance and advice. According to the 2025 Inclusivity Report, only one third (33%) of women believe current signalling is clear, and two in three (67%) want better menopause-friendly signposting1.
Melanie King, Head of Digital Services at Pharmacy2U, said: “At Pharmacy2U, we are committed to helping our patients and customers better manage their health and wellbeing through accessible, trusted support. Partnering with GenM allows us to bring together a comprehensive menopause-friendly offering in one place, alongside educational resources that empower women to make informed choices about the products and support available to them.”
Alongside curated product ranges spanning supplements, skincare, intimate health, sleep, wellbeing and everyday essentials, the hub also provides education and guidance around the 48 recognised signs of menopause.
Heather Jackson, CEO and Co-Founder of GenM, added: “Women are increasingly turning online first for menopause support, yet too often the experience can feel overwhelming and difficult to navigate. The MTick was created to change that, giving women a trusted shopping symbol to identify products that can help support their menopause signs with confidence.
“Pharmacy2U is leading the way in menopause support by bringing pharmacy, education and product discovery together in one trusted, easy-to-navigate destination, powered by the MTick, setting the standard for how women can shop for their signs. It’s a brilliant example of what best-in-class menopause retail looks like.
“Our research shows women can name only 5 of the 48 signs of menopause, so this hub is about far more than products alone. It’s about trusted education, clearer signposting, and showing what becomes possible when retail commits to understanding and supporting the menopausal consumer. This is the MTick in action, bringing confidence, clarity
The announcement comes after a standout year for Pharmacy2U, which recently broke through the 2million patient milestone. In the last 12 months, the Leeds-based company has launched a new app and health hub, announced a year-long lead sponsorship of ITV’s Loose Women, and completed a series of strategic acquisitions, including Care Quality Pharmacy, one of the UK’s largest care home pharmacy providers.
