Servelec, the enabler of digital care for the NHS and local government, announced today that it is seeking to openly collaborate with other technology providers to enable its customers to benefit from access to a broader technology ecosystem, bringing patients, citizens and providers together for better digital care. Working with partners, Servelec will enhance the interoperability of its mental health and community healthcare and social care solutions. In working with various partners, the enhanced offering from Servelec through their partner programme will provide healthcare and social care providers, enhanced functionality which complements and enhance the core functionality of the Servelec Rio Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and Mosaic case management solutions. The defined roadmaps of Servelec products will now include functionality from partners’ technology to create innovative, patient-focused, interoperable digital solutions.
Initially focusing on healthcare, Servelec’s strategy is to enable care providers to achieve digital maturity in line with the aspirations of the NHS Long Term Plan, and successfully progress recently launched directives from NHSX, the Government’s joint organisation for digital, data and technology. Servelec hopes to collaborate with technologies that can help its customers progress improvement areas such as social prescribing, greater patient access and self-service techniques.
Neil Laycock, managing director at Servelec comments, “Our core products are strong and proven, and are giving the NHS and social care providers the ability to deliver best practice digital care to service users. However, we know that by working with partners, we can provide more: more diversity and more creativity. For example, partnerships will enable service users to choose and book appointments, access faster clinical advice via digital communication and be more engaged with their own medical records.”
He adds: “Connecting patients, clinicians and carers together for better digital care is our passion, and we want to work with partners who share our goals to transform health and social care. We want to continue to enable faster, more accurate and easily shareable medical and care information within the NHS and local government social care system, and we recognise that true success will come from interoperability between technology providers. A strong, accredited partner programme is key to this. It gives our customers the best possible way to determine the roadmap that works for them and ensures that they are able to achieve and ideally exceed the expectations of the NHS Long Term Plan.”
Partners will be selected from a variety of best practice specialists, with a focus on those that best fit with the open strategy of collaborative delivery. Servelec’s priority is to provide exceptional, forward thinking solutions which are wholly focused on health and social care with a proven track record in the delivery of better integrated digital care and enhancing patient services for better clinical, financial and operational outcomes.
