Leading workforce management tech company opens new headquarters following continued growth

Local MP, Michael Fabricant had the honour of officially opening a workforce management tech company’s new office base in Lichfield on Friday, 4 February 2020.

HAS Technology is a global provider of innovative technology solutions, targeting the health and social care and facilities management sectors.

Their new local office will enable HAS Technology Group to continue to develop solutions that deliver efficiencies and improve quality for customers.

MP Michael Fabricant was able to take a tour of the office building and see first-hand some of the technology that is making a difference to social care delivery. This included the latest innovations for falls prevention and social care commissioning.

The event culminated with a celebratory ribbon cutting with the MP and founder of HAS Technology Group, Peter Longman, to officially open the new office.

MP Michael Fabricant added: “I was delighted to be able to open the new office for HAS Technology here in Lichfield and was very interested to learn of their activities in both the UK and Australia. It’s great to have an innovative company like this move their headquarters to Lichfield.

“I very much enjoyed learning about the range of technological solutions they are able to offer and had plenty of questions to the team on how they collect and use data to continually improve their services.  I am sure they have a bright future.”

Peter Longman, HAS Technology Group founder, commented: “We were delighted to welcome Michael Fabricant MP to our opening event, and the team were excited to share our vision for the group.

“I’m proud of the way we’ve evolved our services to continually meet our customer needs, developing systems that will ultimately improve the quality of care delivered to the end user.”

HAS Technology started life as CM2000 (now CM) in 1999, originally providing electronic homecare visit monitoring technology. Recently celebrating its 20th anniversary, the group has now grown to become a global provider of social care management solutions with a dedicated base of customers and staff.

Ezitracker, which specialises in workforce management software for the facilities management industry is also part of the group based at Stowe House.

Stowe House currently has 90 employees made up of system developers, testers and customer support technicians, as well as all the core functions, such as finance, HR, sales and marketing.

The company’s progress has been underlined by the achievement of the 2007 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category, and the recent shortlisting for a number of high-profile industry awards, including Tomorrow’s Care Awards 2020 and the Digital Health and Care Awards.
