The collaboration between the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), academia, and industry leaders within pharma and digital could help medicines reach patients up to a year faster (30 April 2024). The collaboration will develop a working model of a cloud-first manufacturing facility that will use technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and the Internet of Things (IoT) to accelerate the speed at which new medicines are made.
