Digital Transformation Project of the Year: The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust – The PAH staff onboarding project

PAH set up a joined-up process ensuring a smooth transition from recruitment to starting work for all new starters to our organisation. We combined new technology with human input and inherent flexibility to ensure all stakeholders could manage their part of the process within agreed timescales and quality criteria. Rather than looking at the tasks each stakeholder could execute, we looked at what the new starter required at each stage, and who was best placed to provide it. That led us to creating the most efficient way to communicate information in the best way at the best time for stakeholders.
